As many remember, I'm working on my aluminum car
trailer (photos to be available upon completion<g>).
Anyone recall the great plastic film removal thread??
Anyway, things are progressing, I've received the Flexiride
torsion axles with disc brakes, we're installing the electric/hydraulic
braking system and I've found a neat 2" coupler that doesn't have
all the little levers, clips, etc. that always seem to make a clean
installation look messy. Also, I'm going with a lighting system made
by Truck-Lite, it has LED lighting and looks like a great addition to the
trailer.
Now I've had a thought and I need some ideas. I'd like to have an
electric winch to assist in single-person loading of my various cars
that will be carried on the 14' trailer. I also need a trailer jack to
stabilize
the trailer when un-hitched. Does anyone make a combination electric
winch/jack? It would seem to be an excellent combination; I've checked
the web pages and found nothing in the way of a combination unit. I
thought I'd find it in the marine trailer industry, but no luck so far.
Any suggestions?
