Dryden (maker of Drydene) has been owned by Castrol for some time, but the
name was positioned as their "heavy duty lubricants" division. According to
their web site, they've started using the Castrol name, because of higher
name recognition.
"Dryden will officially become Castrol Heavy Duty Lubricants Inc on January
1, 1999"
