sawzall recommendations?

My fiance wants a Sawzall for her birthday.  She
really likes the Makita cordless drill that I got
her a few years ago.

Looking through some catalogs, I see that
there's a number of cordless Sawzall-type saws.
Would they be hard to handle for a small woman?
How long do the batteries last on something
with that large a motor?
