Inch, I disagree with "it doesn't matter" . One of the wires is called the 'tip' wire and the other is the 'ring' if 'cross wired' (wired backwards) you will get an dial tone, but won't be able to break it. Simply reverse the two wires (green/red) and try it ....it should work properly... john |
