Castrol's "Purple Stuff" is great - smells of ammonia to me, otherwise
it acts much like Simple Green.

I'm fond of a Kano Labs (the folks who make Kroil) product called Floway.
It's a bit like the Gunk of old - a thin liquid that you spray on and
hose off. I haven't bought it in a while, though I need to - maybe
it's been ruined, too.
