I am thinking of getting a butterfly impact wrench to speed the process
of removing the gearbox from my Healey. I don't think that I
need anything super high powered since I will be mainly working with
the bolts which hold the bell housing to the rear engine plate
and the rear mounts. Some of the spots I will need to get into are
a bit tight, so I suspect a smaller tool might be more useful than
a full sized impact wrench.
Any thoughts on whether a tool like this would be useful and, if
so, which brand is best?
Thanks,
