Tablesaw followup

Thanks for all the advice about tablesaws.  Key info is that the fences seem
to vary in accuracy and repeatability, and I wouldn't have thought to
closely examine this.

No one commented on belt drive vs direct drive.  Most of the 'name' saws
(Delta, etc) in the $650 price range are direct drive, while some of the
other saws are belt drive.  My going in assumption is that all other things
being equal, belt drive would be better.  Comments?
