When we got our Bridgeport, we used a friend's tow truck to lift it off the
flatbed that brought it to our house. We then moved it to the back of the
garage by putting some steel tubing on the floor and rolling the mill across
it. Kinda like the Egyptian slaves were said to have done to move the huge
stones for the pyramids.
We don't need no stinkin' forklift (though it would have made it easier to
move the new bead-blasting cabinet down the street when the 18-wheeler
decided he couldn't get out of our driveway if he got in it...)
