I got a very similar thing from Home Depot; it's 2" by 4" and has 3/4 inch 
particle board shelves though.  I got 4 units for my garage and there's still 
room for the Bentley and the TR6.  I'd be leery of V-8 blocks, but I'm pretty 
sure anything lesser would work.
Best $200 I ever spent on a garage.  (Except I got a *good* roller-base tool 
box with ball-bearing drawer slides.  Wow!  a *good* toolbox makes a BIG 
difference.)
