I'm in the market for a pressure washer.
What is a good guide for PSI? Naturally, one tends to always want the
biggest, baddest, Tool Time amount, but can anyone give a good rule of
thumb? I do not want to spend $600 on a 2100 PSI sprayer that doesn't meet
my needs or overspend for capability that I'll never use. This is a hard
question, because like most tools, there are other applications than just
cleaning the engine bay of the TR. Lots of them spring to mind, such as
cleaning the concrete garage floor, zapping mildew and peeling paint on the
house prior to painting, etc.
Also...do I need one with a capability to heat the water? Will a pressure
washer perform better than a steam cleaner? What kind of a tradeoff exists
between the two?
Does anyone have good or bad reports about certain pressure washer makes?
