Yes, epoxy floor paint will end up lifting in the area where your
tires rest on it, assuming a car that is driven in and out often.
The tires holding up the many year project tend not to go through
so many heat cycles.
When I get around to repainting the half of the home garage where my
wife's car sits, I was thinking of getting some vinyl flooring to
put where the tires sit. Since she pulls in until the tires hit the
front bump stops, the car is always parked in the same spot, so only
a few square feet at each corner would be needed.
