I have a 86 Trans Am rear under my project. yes you will need a proportional
valve with rear disc brakes to keep the rear from locking up. you will also
need residual pressure valves with a hanging pedal, front and rear to keep
the caliper pistons from retracting all the way.

I used a 03 Mustang hydroboost for a power brake booster. A simple bracket
to hang it.

Since your using a stock pedal location, stay with a stock brake light
switch. I hear the inline switches being more trouble than they're worth.

my question to you is what parking brake set up are you using?
