Hi Dennis
The tool does little more than what it says "prime the oil pump" , but it
gets you ready for the next step, install the distributor and without spark
plugs roll the engine over with the starter and watch for oil pressure. When
the press comes up and the lifters moving you should see some oil at the
rockers. I saw your pictures, nice installation, you're almost home.
