The 50, 60, or 75 series defines the sidewall height and is roughly that percentage of the tread width. A 50 series tire has a sidewall height about 50 percent of the tread width. Or so I've been told. Harry oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
