Is there any 41 - 46 trucks out there that could help me on some
measurements to help with figuring out what size rear tires I will be able
to run?
My truck is in pieces so I am doing some calculating here.
According to my measurements the width of the bed is 49 inches and the
outside width of the fenders is 72 inches. That leaves me with 23 inches
inside the fenders. Or around 10 inches of tire width.
Is there anyone out there that could check these on an assembled truck?
Also, when a tire is listed as 235 X Y. is 235 the total width of the tire,
or is it the width of the tread and then there is more tire bulging out on
the side wall?
235 divided by 25.4 = 9.25 inches
245 divided by 25.4 = 9.64 inches
255 divided by 25.4 = 10.03 inches
265 divided by 25.4 = 10.43 inches
