When I bought my 1st ole 59 GMC 3/4 ton for a couple hundred bucks in high
school, I never even thought about the difference of a chevy & GMC. Then after
saving up my Taco Bell paychecks while drooling over all of the potential parts
that I saw in the parts booklet from a 47 to 59 chevy & GMC parts house, that's
when I heard these words for the first time "Sorry kid, we don't have that part
for GMC." then "Oh, we don't have that part for GMC either, but we do have
these chevy black knobs instead of the white knobs." "Nothing will fit your
dash" my favorite is "parking lights, yea right!" So from then on I've looked
for NOS GMC parts and I've found it more rewarding knowing that I have the
correct parts for my GMC's and no stinking re-pop parts.
So hell yes I might buy some T Shirts but I just dont want any candy*** re-pop
chevy pickups on my shirt. Give me a GMC Suburban, or Panel truck, and make
them a Napco 4x4 while your at it please! Then I know I'm showing a real truck
with real parts! Us GMC guys get screwed all the time...if the shirts had just
GMC's and only GMC's you chevy people would sing the blues!
Oletrucks cant even put the letter "C" in GMC. AUGH!!
