Vacumm modulator I think on those? At back of pan. Has a vacumm line to
intake? OR, the cable that goes up to the carb is a shift timing cable. It
shifts depending on position of throttle. If it shifts right away and
quickly to top gear, this is usually gone or mis-adjusted. A good trans shop
will go for a free "test" ride and give you
ideas also.
