Also, I understand the bottom edges of the cylinders have to be machined so
the rods don't hit them. I've also been told that the angle of the rods can
be a problem. But GM has a crate 383 hi-torque  TRUCK engine available. I
believe it puts out a LOT of torque. Bob K in PHX, AZ.
