I got rid of my '97 S-10 and replaced it with a '65 C-10 as my daily driver.
The S-10 had weird electrical problems, the A/C was poor, overheated for at
times no apparent reason, and was generally not cool. My '65 has (at least
for now) no A/C, P/S, or P/B, but I sure get a lot of thumbs up from others
and it starts and runs everyday. Just my .02.
