I used a bench seat out of a 94 full size Chevy truck and it fit like it
was made for it. There are pictures on my website if you're interested. It
was the easiest thing I've ever done as far as putting it in. I understand
the newer (2000 and up ) Silverados have built in seat belts which would be
nice too. Some of the mid-90's bench seats had that armrest you are
speaking of but mine didn't. I plan on putting a console in at some point.
In a related note, I had promised my old seat to someone on the list and
I've forgotten who it was. At any rate during my move from VA to MD late
last year I had the seat stored at a friends garage in VA. He misunderstood
me and thought it was ok to toss out so it was thrown away without my ok. I
am truly sorry as I do not like to promise things and then not deliver but
the situation kinda got out of my control
