What did you end up doing and did it lower the truck a lot? I want to have a
modern front end with power steering and brakes but I want to keep the
height. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

       Tom,
I have heard the same thing as you about swapping a S-10 frame for a TF
frame. It wont work as easy as they make it sound. The S-10 long bed is 4"
too long. I also measured a club-cab short bed and it was too long also. To
make it work, you would have to cut the 4" out of the frame or remount the
rear springs. You would also still have to redo all the body mounts. Sounded
like too much hassle to me, I gave up on that idea. Just thought I'd pass
this along to you.
