I revived a dead '46 half ton with a '58 235. The water pump is much lower
on those later year engines so the conventional fan wouldn't work. I
installed an electric fan. As I recall it was the mid size of 3 available at
Pep Boys. Works fine.

Subject: [oletrucks] Electric Fan
Has anyone used the electric fan conversion kits such as the ones offered by
"chevs of the 40s". How do I determine what the stock CFM requirement was
for a 1960 235 to pick the appropriate sized electric fan? Pros/Cons of
this
change?
Thanks,
Neil Temple
