Neither engine is really rare, or worth a great sum of money . My estimate
is in the 100-200$ range with a good, rebuilable head, 3spd tranny's w/OD are
usually priced about 100-150$.
The 3rdGen F-body front ends are not an easy (IMO) IFS swap, they have a
strut front suspension, with an upper framerail, just looking at them, I
think you'd have to chop the whole front end off your truck, and tie the
upper frame in somehow.
The 305 heads aren't worth much either, small valved, and don't flow
well...58cc combustion chambers to boot. You'd have a hard time selling
them, unless they were in great shape, ready to run, and someone needed them.
There were a larger valve version of the 305 heads...1.87intake valve IIRC,
but with the plethora of 1.94/1.5 GM heads out there with 64-76CC chambers,
you'd have to wait for someone with a 305 to come along...or someone who's
looking for a cheap way to raise his CR w/58cc heads on a 350.
