What is the best tool for cutting out the rusted sections of metal?
Look into a plasma cutter. I bought one about a year ago and find it to be
an invaluable tool for metal working. The lighter duty units (for sheet
metal) are quite reasonable in price and you can cut very fast and
accurately. There is virtually no heat buildup in thin material. You can
handle it with bare hands within seconds after cutting. Check 'em out at
your local welding supply house.
