I hooked the deluxe fan switch to my recirculating heater's fan
and put an in-line water control valve in the heater hose with
no problems. Only things you have to watch out for are:
a. whether the valve is "push to open" or "pull to open"
b. the size of the fittings needs to match the hose
I don't remember the right answer on either.

Subject: Re: [oletrucks] 1955 2nd series heater
where the deluxe controls would have gone? my heater control knob in my '57
was mounted right in the middle, above the radio, between the wiper switch
and cigarette lighter. fit perfectly, never had anything on the lil deleat
plate where the deluxe controls were supposed to be.
Also, i bought a deluxe control unit, frame, levers, bezel, face, knobs,
even an original light bucket and wire, for $90, was that a good price? will
the deluxe controls work a sandard heater fan, and could i put a 55-56 or
'57-59 duluxe heater control valve in my heater hose and have the deluxe
controls work it with the standard heater?
thanks
