I cant help but to feel responsible for all this since it was me that
started the whole thing. It was inadvertent. I never dreamed any individual
here would take what I said personally. I dont know most of you (the same
problem we all suffer) so how would I be able to attack you on a personal
level? Yet, what I said about the condition of my trucks was taken
personally and so here we are with people leaving. I get called an old
Dutchman all the time. Should I get all defensive and start calling people
names? I just laugh with them. Even if it is at my expense. I have a great
deal of respect for all of you. I have considered each one of you my friends
and do my best to pass along all the good advice I have received from folks
like Bob Adler, Grant G and S, and many more.
With a lot of young people on this list, I had started out my 'tirade' this
past week with good intentions but seemingly caught some people at a rather
bad time. No-one who really knows me could ever accuse me of being
unfriendly or mean spirited in any way. Opinionated yes. Anyhow, I felt
obligated to apologize for the way some of you perceived my words because
the last thing I want is people leaving because of me. If anyone is guilty
of a list etiquette infraction its dkrehbiel@kscable.com. I will be more
conscious of peoples hair trigger in the future and hopefully everyone will
stay and benefit from this great resource.
Happy Holidays to everyone! Listen to your wife Miq! :)
