Hmmm, I'm running a pretty warm 261 (dual intake, Fentons, head work, open
cam, etc.) with the torque tube and I can push 80+ with the other ponies in
the fast lane....... with 3.55s.  There are friendly transmissions (Saginaw
for instance) for the torque tube too.
