I have 3.54's in my '59, 4spd with 4th 1:1, 30inch tall tire, behind my
235...I'd still like another 300-500rpms.....
With that said, taking off in 2nd with the granny, rear and tires I have,
is about as much as I'm comfortable with, also the 3/4 split is is about
maxed too.
The 3.73's would be good with an OD tranny...but highway driving will still
keep it wound up at 60-65.
