The PO of my '49 3600 had installed a pair of aftermarket universal tail
lights/brake lights to replace the original left hand tail light/license
bracket. I have purchased two original reproduction tail light
assemblies and mounting brackets from Chevy Duty.
There are two sets of mounting bolts and holes on each side of the truck
under the left and right rear corners of the tailgate. I can't tell by
looking at photos if the tail lights mount on the frontside or the
rearside mounting bolts. What have you guys seen or done on this?
I'm off to the Goodguys second spring nationals in Orlando today...so
maybe I can check it out there.
