Hey Smokey --

I have the exact tail light (with new repro. tail light assb) problem as
you.  I have ordered the 3rd Brake light kit that fits in the end of the
tube on each side of the truck bed.  They look kinda cool because they
fill in the holes and I think you can wire them up as turn signals too.
