I received my truck in January from Wisconsin to New Hampshire. I did call
around and went with the lowest price company. That company was
CountrySide. The truck started and ran, however it did not have enough
traction (in the snow) to drive on to the carrier truck. They winced it up
and broke (cracked) the front left bumper brace. Next to fit in the took a
torch to the bumper and cut off the bolts and removed the front bumper.
Next they flattened the front two tires so it would not bump the roof when
they cranked it the rest of the way in. After the truck arrived it was
missing one of the chrome grill bars. The drive stated "it was given to us
this way". I pulled out a picture from the sender and the bar was NOT
missing. To bad was the response I got from the company. I would stay away
from this company.

Thanks,
Jim House

Subject: [oletrucks] Recommendations for vehichle transport

I have recently purchased a 1952 Chevy pickup in Los Angeles. I now need to
have it shipped up to Oregon. I have been requesting quotes from various
shipping companies, but would like to make sure the company I use is
reputable. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding vehichle shipping
companies? Thanks in advance for your help.
