Squirt some motor oil in number 6, turn it over a few times, and repeat
the test.  If the compression on No. 6 goes up, you have a problem with
the rings or cylinder wall.

        The 235 engine in my truck runs as smooth as silk, but seems to
have an 
        excessive amount of blow-by coming out of the draft tube (or
from the valve 
        cover cap if it is removed).  I did a dry compression test which
revealed 
        that cylinders #1 to #5 were right around 130 pounds, but #6 was
105.  Are 
        these two problems likely related?  What are the possible
causes?
