Frames for 3/4 tons are quite different. First, the rails are closer
together with the spring hangers riveted to the outside rather than
standing directly underneath. I would recommend against going to a 1/2 ton
axle under it even if you can move the spring pads to fit. These trucks are
substantially heavier than a half ton even when empty. People don't usually
hotrod 3/4 tons because they are so much heavier so I would expect that the
IFS clips that you see would not fit 3/4 tons.
