I have a 51 Chevy 3100 that has the original rear end replaced by a 10 bolt chevy. The original parking brake cables are not compatible with the 10 bolt's backing plate. Can anyone give me some guidance as to how to hook up the parking brakes? Should I try to swap out backing plates? Or do I need to get a new pedal assembly and cable? I can't figure out how to go about this adaptation..... Thanks, steve 51 Chevy 3100 oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
