I've decided that the ongoing problems with the carb ('55 235 in my '47-2
Thriftmaster), I changed out the needle valve back to the original and still
had the overflow problem, so I adjusted the float in the up position to 7/32"
lower than the spec with hopes that this would keep the level lower than the
top of the bowl. This slowed the filling, but didn't stop the problem. I
now think that it is the FLOAT.... augggh! None of the FLAPS around has a
float for the rochester "c" 1bbl. Any one know of a NAPA number or anything
that I could use, or maybe a float out of a latter model that I could use?
In short, Does anyone have a float? or does anyone know of a source?
TIA
