Hi, I have a 59 3/4 ton GMC with a 6-cyl 270 and it never had a fan shroud on it. I asked the original owner. My buddy has a 57 GMC 1/2 ton w/ V-8 347 and his has one. I have another friend with a 58 GMC 1/2 ton with the V-8 and his has one. So I think that the 6-cyl trucks did not have the shroud as an option...I may be wrong. Great mailing list!!!
