My '57 must be similar in ratio.  Screams at 65 MPH (3,500 RPM).  Gas gauge 
moves faster than the speedo!

Paul this was stock for '58. It is all right for errands around town, to the
dump etc but limits highway use to about 50 MPH before the motor is
uncomfortable.
