Hello All,
I have been working steadily on my 55 2nd and just got it back
from the
paint shop. Now the time has come to replace the old ratty pine bed wood
that is in it. I tried touching up the existing wood with my planer, but
it still doesnt look as good as I would like it to. I would like to know
exactly what kind of wood came standard in a 55 2nd 3100. And if anyone
has done anything unique with their bed's. I am planning on trying
"pelucid" from the makers of Por-15 when I do the work. I will post the
results.
I plan on buying the rough sawn lumber, planeing it down myself
so any
input would be greatly appreciated.
