Gerry,
the absolute best is Rimmer Bros. in the UK.
They have what you need and if you are organized
and get it all at once shipping is bearable. Plus you
don't have to pay V.A.T.

Gerry,
The Roadster Factory has high quality parts and rotating specials. Shipping
is a bit pricey but that goes on special too. TRF has lots of parts made to
spec and buys in the best, and support TR4s well. Moss is a mixed bag, some
excellent parts and some not as good, but prices can be steep. Victoria
British can be very economical and stocks lots of parts, but some not the
finest quality. Service of all three is good in my experience. British Parts
Northwest is a smaller operation but the have good quality parts for the
most part, good prices and service.
Many parts are all made in India or Asia, so it doesn't matter where you buy
those, but if there is a UK or US part, they usually fit and look better and
last longer.
Some are NLA, so NOS or NORS are the only options.
Many other options, but these are big, more local, and easy.
Cheers,
Greg Tatarian

Hi,
Looking for advice here. I'm going to be spending a truck load of
money... well, a TR4 trunk load anyway, on parts very shortly. I've
been dealing with Moss and have no complaints about the quality but
the prices do seem out of whack at times. In the past I've dealt with
Victoria (whatever they call it) in the midwest somewhere and also was
reasonably satisfied with them.
But I have been surprised to find that TR4As are more difficult to
find parts for than Land Rovers of the same vintage. Does anyone here
have any thoughts on these or any other purveyors? I'm open to
recommendations and personal testimonials. Thanks for any insight you
can provide.
Gerry
