Thanks Michael, it does indeed help.  I completely forgot about
Jordan's.  However the parts I'm looking for are not the consumable
kind for the most part.   I need a new temp-gauge (electric) and a
Voltmeter.   (I'm going to have more faith in that than the Ammeter
since I have an alternator on mine.)  Other stuff needed (so far)
wiper switch, choke cable, air duct panels for the radiator, maybe a
new wiper motor, etc.    Oh... and who locally would be the favorite
choice for replacing the windshield (further away on the calendar but
needed).  I have used empire glass in the past but on modern stuff.

And to be more specific:  Does anyone have any experience at all with
www.englishparts.com
?  They seem to have some stuff at remarkable prices.
