You mean a Facet, John? Facel was a car, as in Facel-Vega...

Of course, if you can't hear it when you're driving you won't know when 
it stops working until your motor stops. ;-)  Likewise, you'll know it's 
working if you can run the motor more than a minute. ;-) ;-)
On the plus side, your Facet weighs less than the original mechanical 
fuel pump, so if you've removed that, the Elan is now lighter!

All joking aside, for those members interested in converting to electric 
fuel pumps, Pierce Manifolds sells both the Facet-type (there are many 
brands selling this design), as well as a small, low-pressure 
cylindrical pump that is perfect for Webers, Del'Lortos, etc., and very 
quiet. The stock number is:
