You are welcome to view under her bonnet as long as you don't make her
blush. It does have a nice 5 speed gear box that is bolted to the
Pontiac. Cruises comfortably at 80 mph (don't know for sure because I
don't have a functional speedo). The Jag Owners Clubs call me a bastard
but hey, that's the way she came to me and I am enjoying the reliability
as I drive her on a regular basis. BTW, the Sacramento Jag Club is
hosting a Concours event at the Ledgewood Creek Winery on Sunday,
October 11th. It starts at 0900. I hope NOBBC members will come out
for a drive, tasting and fun. As you drive towards Fairfield on 80
east, take the Abernathy Road exit and go north, round the roundabout
and our Suisun Valley "goddess" and straight up the Abernathy Road to
Ledgewood Creek Winery on the left.

Appreciate your efforts, Mike. My Mk2 Jag is under construction and may
be on the road for spring events. I usually attend and may see you
sunday, but I drive a Ford truck!
Interested in your e-type, Frank. My plan is to install the Chev V6 with
a 5 speed in the Mk2.
Cheers, Rob
