Undersized? Find me a single brand of 165x14 tires that the tire
manufacturer claims will work on those tiny rims. 145R14 is about the
same as the stock original, and they work fine.
I've used 165R14s, too. I'm not going to claim that they immediately
explode or anything, but they do look funny mounted on such narrow rims,
and it violates the tire manufacturer's recommendations.
