Back inside again, the snow is coming you can sense the change in the air
I just finished making a tool roll original spec for my Morgan, its not
hard but not easy either,
originally they had a seven pocket tool roll, The Nelsons in Canada
loaned me an original, and I bought another original,
comparing the two were almost identicle.
I have made notes if any one is interested in the how, never used a
sewing machine and only drew blood once!
Another question is the Tires original to a Morgan,
I found on my 1963 Super Sports cars notes from Charlie Curtis, the test
driver that it mentions 'Nylon Tyres'
I found a 1963 Fergus-Fine cars Morgan Sports Car and Accessory list for
December, 1963 it has Dura-band, or Turbo Speed tires in lieu of regular
for 68dollars if installed at factory.
My Bill of Sale from Fergus Motors October 10, 1963 lists 5 RS-5 Tires
for 50 dollars, these had some use on them.
So based on the above, does anyone know If the RS-5 are nylon, or if The
Duraband or turbo speed, Nylon, and RS-5 are all separate types of tyres?
We were also told our car raced on Goodyear Blue streaks.
I appreciate all the great responses,
