Can't imagine that a compressed-air car would do any good.
Folks with experience in industrial power transmission will tell you that
there's almost no more inefficient way of transmitting power than via
compressed air. The heat loss during the compression, as well as the
inefficiencies in the turbines, make it suitable only for low-volume,
high-speed applications, like air tools.
Probably sounds good to some ("Car Runs On Air!!!") but the total fuel
burned including at the power plant would be way more than an IC engine or
electric system.
