Jim,
Ed is only partially correct: some are waiting for your return - and not all
are here.
As you can see, Chuck V is alive & well. Greg S still makes his valued
technical postings. If I might recap on behalf of some others....
Toad still sermonizes to the Brethern on occasion for Morgan related needs &
items to sell. Tony Mc still searches for Morgans to list in cyberspace,
still operates his site & database, & recently has been returned to the care
& feeding of his Morgan bibliography, which Lorne has deferred back to him.
Last we heard of Lorne, he was suggesting that he could supplant this email
list with a high tech version of his own, in response to an appeal by list
owner Mark Bradakis for funds to modernize the hardware of this list. (What
happened to the "cohesiveness of THIS list"?). Well, the list goes on.
As for Fred K, he's no longer on the list. Inexplicably he was removed one
day & decided not to rejoin. The web sites, email, Club positions, etc were
beginning to cause burn-out, coupled with his wife's health in recent years,
led to the decision to drop out & sell their Morgan, which has gone
Stateside. He's told me that he has sold 2 cars & bought a new 4x4 (and
probably will go off roading with the Land Rovers! He's happy that some
people have chosen to make some enriching contributions at the Morgan Sports
Cars International site, notably people outside of this list's group. He did
say that he "misses you too" (Ahwwww)! By the way, Fred S has republished
his Morgan Bedside Reader booklet. Tony B continues to help people with tech
problems between publishing Bricklin newsletters & getting umpteen emails a
day! Colin C has gone back to practical, worthwhile & fun pursuits, rather
than trying to unite the Mog world in a mega Club.
I think that about sums it all up!
Those who responded to the post regarding the info forwarded on MOA III,
please direct your questions to the organizer's email addresses mentioned in
the post for further info. That's all I got & all I know. Unlike some in Mog
cyberspace, I'm not obligated to serve - you'll have to do your quests
yourself. I got a life, folks.
-Ssssincerely,
Snake
