I can see this is going to run and run. The UK Employment Tribunal
system makes a ruling on _fact_ in the first hearing, the one for which
you have the judgement. The only grounds for appeal are on a point of
law and there is a strict time limit.
I understand from the London administrative centre of the Employment
Tribunals Service that an appeal has been lodged under the reference
1222/99.
This will now go to a pre-hearing, where the grounds for an appeal will
be scrutinised and either rejected, statistically the most likely
outcome, or passed to a review tribunal.
I would be fascinated to see this critique personally or better still
see it published in Miscellany or on the ManxMog website. As I am not
able to go to centre meetings, this may be the only way I get to see it.
