Do not be to shure..... ;-)
I have used Avon 5.25x16 for a period of 3 years, and if pressurised
after the books, the car feels really sluggish on hard surface roads. On
gravel roads they work excellent, but on asfalt they seems like being
made of jello.... :-)
Well, i did use a small electrical hand held cutter and rounded the
edges of the tires with a few mm. Thus making them more round, and
pressuried to 33 lbs.
This did the trick, and made my 36' 4/4 able to run steadily at 60mph.
Harder tires gives a more bumpy ride, but way better performance in
stability...
Try it.
