The slave cylinder is held in place by a snap ring (also referred to as a circlip). It can be removed and installed with the aid of long nose pliers which can prove to be quite aggravating. Use a good pair of snap ring pliers (available from any good auto parts store) and you will find that removal takes only seconds. I had mine re-sleeved by White Post for around $40 (includes lifetime warranty) two years ago and is hasn't leaked or faded yet. Good luck. Tom Warden 1965 4/4, B-1063 MCCDC & MSCC |
