Do you actually find oil and grease on your front disc pads? Poor front
brake action might be caused by plugged hydraulic hoses or tubes. The
flexible hoses that connect to the disc calipers have been known to
swell internally and impede the flow of brake fluid. RThe hoses look OK
externally but are bad inside. Usually this causes the front brakes to
stay on, because fluid gets to the pistons under braking pressure but
dosen't flow back after the brake pedal is released.
Rear brake seizure is often caused by brake shoes wet with leaking brake
fluid. The brake fluid softens the shoe and the brakes grab. You
should examine both front and rear systems looking for leaking wheel
cylinders and perished hoses.
